MASP announces 12th annual gala themed around Latin American stories

The Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand (MASP) has announced the 12th edition of Festa MASP, scheduled for October 7. For the second consecutive year, Gucci will serve as the event's primary sponsor.

The theme for this year is ‘Latin American Stories,’ which will be reflected in the musical lineup, decor, and menu. For the first time, the museum will feature an international attraction: Colombian singer Aria Vega, who blends Afro-Caribbean roots with pop and afrobeats. Other performances include the band Quimbará and the carnival block México Para Baixo.

The event is structured in two parts: a dinner for 450 patrons, collectors, and artists featuring a Latin-inspired menu, followed by a dance party for an additional 450 guests. Following a fundraising total of R$ 4 million last year, organizers have set a goal to raise between R$ 4.5 million and R$ 5 million this year to support the museum's ongoing work and programming.
