MASP hosts dance performance inspired by historical love letters

The Marcia Milhazes Companhia de Dança has launched the dance performance ‘Piquenique, variações amorosas’ at MASP. The show is inspired by love letters dating back to the 18th century, exploring human connections through movement.

The production features a hand-painted immersive mural titled ‘Pietrolina’ in the underground tunnel connecting the Lina Bo Bardi and Pietro Maria Bardi buildings. This scenery was created by artist Beatriz Milhazes, sister of choreographer Marcia Milhazes. The performance is part of the 8th Paulista Dance Week.
