Massa Lombarda hosts 39th Sagra delle Sfogline pasta competition

The 39th edition of the Sagra delle Sfogline in Massa Lombarda has concluded, celebrating traditional handmade pasta techniques.

In the professional category, Emanuela Lucatini of Abeto took first place, followed by Cinzia Petrini of Cesena in second and Lorenza Accarisi Dotti of Faenza in third. The youth category was won by Lucia Spairani from Mordano, while Maria Sanzani of Forlì secured the top spot in the amateur category, ahead of Ronnie Montefiori and Lucia Di Nella.

The awards ceremony was attended by Massa Lombarda Mayor Stefano Sangiorgi and representatives from the Confraternita della Tagliatella and the local Pro Loco. The festival, which promotes regional culinary products, featured various pasta dishes including tagliatelle with ragù and tortelloni with porcini mushrooms or pumpkin.
