Massey Ferguson Ideal 9T harvester used in Mazovia wheat harvest
In the Łosice district of eastern Mazovia, Poland, farmer Wojciech Denisiuk is utilizing a Massey Ferguson Ideal 9T combine harvester for the current wheat harvest. The machine, a tracked version imported as a used unit from the United Kingdom, has recorded just over 600 hours of threshing work.
Currently, the harvester is operating below its full potential due to its configuration. It is equipped with a 7.5 m header rather than the recommended 10.7 m McDonnell FD235 header, resulting in an engine load of approximately 50 percent. Despite being underutilized, the setup offers low fuel consumption per hectare. The Ideal 9T features a 660 HP, 15.2 L six-cylinder MAN engine, a 17,100 L grain tank, and Dual Helix rotors for threshing and separation.
