Massey Ferguson unveils new MF 7S Mark 2 tractor series

Massey Ferguson has introduced the MF 7S Mark 2, a new generation of tractors designed to bridge the gap between the existing MF 7S series and the larger MF 8S Xtra models. The lineup consists of six models with power outputs ranging from 170 to 245 hp.

These machines are powered by the AGCO Power Core75 7.5L 6-cylinder engine. They feature the Dyna-VT continuous variable transmission, which supports maximum travel speeds of up to 57 km/h. The new series incorporates design elements from the MF 8S Xtra and MF 9S, including a larger, more isolated cabin intended to reduce noise, vibration, and heat for the operator.

Technical upgrades include a larger fuel tank—25% greater than previous models—and an AdBlue tank that is 88% larger. In collaboration with BKT, Massey Ferguson has also developed specialized VF tires with diameters of approximately 2 meters to improve traction and reduce soil impact. The new series also features a longer wheelbase and a redesigned front axle to balance stability with maneuverability.
