Massimiliano Allegri criticized by Riccardo Trevisani

Journalist Riccardo Trevisani has issued a sharp critique of Massimiliano Allegri, targeting both his tactical approach and his ability to improve teams through coaching. During the program ‘Cronache di Spogliatoio’, Trevisani described Allegri’s style of play as ‘orrido’ (horrid) and argued that his teams fail to gain added value from his work on the pitch.

Trevisani contrasted Allegri with Luciano Spalletti, noting that while Allegri excels at managing locker rooms and handling media presence, he lacks the ability to translate that into significant on-field progress. The journalist suggested that Allegri’s current difficulties reflect long-standing patterns seen in his previous coaching experiences.
