Massimiliano Allegri reaffirms confidence in Lorenzo Lucca

Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri has publicly reaffirmed his confidence in striker Lorenzo Lucca ahead of the match against Villarreal. Despite Lucca's recent struggles to score consistently, Allegri emphasized that the player remains a primary option in the team's attacking hierarchy.

Allegri noted that while players like Giovane and Neres offer versatility, they are viewed as emergency solutions rather than permanent fixtures in the central attacking roles. The coach stated that Lucca and Rasmus Hojlund are the two main center-forward options for the squad. Allegri praised Lucca's work ethic and availability for his teammates, expressing belief that the player will eventually find his rhythm and return to scoring goals.
