Massimiliano Fuksas featured in new documentary by daughter Elisa
Architect Massimiliano Fuksas was the subject of the documentary ‘Fuksas da tutta la vita’, presented at the Rome Film Festival. Directed by his daughter, Elisa Fuksas, the film utilizes thirty years of archival material, family photos, and footage to explore the passage of time and the relationship between father and daughter.
During the presentation at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, the two engaged in an ironic and candid dialogue. Elisa Fuksas described the project as an investigation into time rather than a mere celebration of her father’s architectural career. Massimiliano Fuksas noted that while he once aspired to be a painter, he observes his daughter’s creative freedom with a sense of admiration.
The film weaves together personal family moments with footage of his architectural works spanning the globe, offering a look at both his private life and his professional evolution.
