Massimo Ambrosini criticizes Francesco Camarda's lack of playing time at Milan

Former player Massimo Ambrosini has sparked debate regarding the management of AC Milan's young striker Francesco Camarda. During a DAZN broadcast following Milan's victory in Udine, Ambrosini argued that the 2008-born attacker needs more consistent playing time to develop his skills and confidence.

Ambrosini suggested that Camarda should have considered a loan move to a different league, such as in Belgium or the Netherlands, to gain experience. He compared Camarda's situation to that of Tresoldi at Club Brugge, noting that playing regularly in a different environment could help a player grow before returning to a major club.

Valon Behrami added that Camarda's high contract value may be complicating potential loan moves to clubs in leagues like the Eredivisie or Belgian Pro League, where teams might struggle to meet his salary requirements while seeking to provide him with meaningful minutes. Behrami characterized the current situation as a “wrong path” for the young player's development.
