Massimo Garavaglia outlines political vision for Lega party

Senator Massimo Garavaglia, a candidate for the Lega leadership, has outlined a political and economic roadmap aimed at transforming the party into a ‘territory union’. During an interview, Garavaglia addressed several key pillars of his platform, including the need to support the middle class and small businesses following recent economic measures.

He highlighted significant employment milestones, noting a record of one million new jobs, and defended government actions such as the 10 billion euro tax wedge reduction and the extension of the Flat Tax for VAT holders. Garavaglia emphasized that while previous efforts focused on lower-income groups, the upcoming Budget Law must prioritize the middle class.

Regarding social stability, Garavaglia condemned political violence during protests, drawing comparisons to recent unrest in France. He maintained that while the right to demonstrate is sacrosanct, violence must be rejected by all participants.
