Massimo Hoist wins St. Leger harness race

The harness racing horse Massimo Hoist, trained by Jukka Hakkaraisen and driven by Hannu Torvinen, secured a victory in the St. Leger race. Despite having to navigate wide paths during the final stretch, the horse overtook the field to claim the 36,000 euro first prize.

Following this victory, which marks the end of its competitive season, Massimo Hoist will move to the Ordenoja stud farm to begin breeding duties. The horse is expected to be used for breeding mares such as Christine L Garden.

In the Satakunta race, Xavier secured a win after Pörnä-Pate experienced difficulties early in the run. Xavier, trained by Antti Ojanperä and driven by Santtu Raitala, managed to take the lead during the final lap.
