Master Cargas invests R$ 150 million in Paraná cold storage

Master Cargas Brasil has inaugurated a large-scale refrigerated storage complex in Ponta Grossa, Paraná. The project represents an investment exceeding R$ 150 million.

Spanning 68,000 m² of built area, the facility features six refrigerated chambers capable of reaching temperatures as low as –25°C. The modular design allows for independent thermal control to accommodate different products, including food, beverages, proteins, and pharmaceuticals. The system utilizes CO₂ for refrigeration and incorporates energy-saving technologies such as electronic expansion valves and heat recovery systems.

The complex is part of a larger 480,000 m² logistics hub, with approximately 30% of the area dedicated to refrigerated operations. According to CEO Tânia Lopes Anselmo, the facility is designed to handle up to 400 trucks per day and will serve premium gastronomy markets both nationally and internationally.
