MasterChef Brasil adds singer Gilmelândia for Latin American cuisine challenge

The tenth episode of MasterChef Brasil aired on Tuesday, 28 May, featuring a culinary test focused on the food of Uruguay, Peru and Chile. Contestants were split into three teams of four and tasked with preparing two savory dishes, a dessert and a traditional drink from each country.

Singer Gilmelândia, a former MasterChef Celebridades contestant, joined the show as a reinforcement for one of the teams, helping them complete the challenge. The dishes were judged by the panel of Erick Jacquin, Helena Rizzo and Henrique Fogaça, who evaluated the teams on technique, creativity and authenticity.

The episode was produced by Endemol Shine Brasil for Band and also streamed on HBO Max, Discovery Home & Health and the BandPlay app.
