MasterChef Brasil contestant Taís eliminated after technical error

Taís Evaristo has been eliminated from MasterChef Brasil after failing a technical challenge involving a lobster dish with marrow and sparkling wine, served with artichoke à la barigoule. The dish, which was based on a recipe by chef Erick Jacquin, was heavily criticized by the judges for being overly greasy and lacking acidity.

Jacquin described the preparation as “incomível” (inedible), noting technical errors such as excessive fat and the presence of tripe in the lobster. Guest judge Diego Lozano also expressed dissatisfaction with the result.

Following her departure, Evaristo expressed her sadness regarding the elimination but noted the mental pressure of the competition. She reflected on her journey as a contestant from the periphery, stating that the experience helped her overcome personal limits and fears.
