MasterChef Brasil features regional barbecue and molecular gastronomy challenges

The 12th episode of MasterChef Brasil's 13th season features two distinct culinary challenges for the remaining 11 contestants. The first challenge focuses on Brazilian regional diversity, requiring teams to prepare barbecue dishes inspired by the North, Northeast, Central-West, South, and Southeast regions of the country.

Participants will work in pairs and a trio, utilizing a relay system where they must rotate positions every 10 minutes during the one-hour challenge. The dishes must include meat, sides, and sauces. Following this, contestants who do not secure a spot in the mezzanine must face an elimination round centered on molecular gastronomy.

Leo Salles, winner of the second season of MasterChef Confeitaria, will participate by demonstrating molecular gastronomy techniques involving liquid nitrogen. The dishes will be evaluated by judges Erick Jacquin, Helena Rizzo, and Henrique Fogaça.
