MasterChef Brazil 2026 launches first‑ever repescagem challenge

The 11th episode of MasterChef Brazil 2026 aired on 4 August 2026 on Band, introducing a new “repescagem” (redemption) round. Eight previously eliminated contestants returned to compete for a single spot back in the competition. The challenge was themed around the Festival of Parintins, requiring teams to create a main dish featuring pirarucu and a dessert that highlighted Amazonian flavors within 1 hour 45 minutes.

Judges Erick Jacquin, Helena Rizzo and Henrique Fogaça evaluated the dishes together with 30 invited influencers. Aline emerged as the winner of the repescagem, declaring confidence that the other competitors would now have to “swallow” her performance. The victorious team secured the returning slot, while the losing participants were eliminated permanently. The format omitted the traditional market round and added a wine‑pairing segment for the final stage.
