MasterChef Brasil opens applications for 2026 season

Band has opened applications for the 13th season of MasterChef Brasil, scheduled to premiere on May 26, 2026. Amateur cooks across the country can apply via the broadcaster's official website. Requirements include being over 18 years old and submitting a 15-minute video demonstrating personality and cooking skills. Individuals with professional gastronomy degrees or restaurant experience are ineligible.

The upcoming season will feature judges Erick Jacquin, Helena Rizzo, and Henrique Fogaça. The competition is expected to begin with 24 participants, eventually narrowing down to 18 for the main competition. Band has announced that 2026 will feature eight continuous months of MasterChef programming.

In recent developments within the current season, the competition has reached its final stages with seven participants remaining. Guest chef Rodrigo Oliveira and former champion Bárbara Frazão recently participated in a savory dessert challenge, while judges Helena Rizzo and Henrique Fogaça returned for the elimination round.
