MasterChef franchise rolls out new Celebrity season and features Nick DiGiovanni on episode

Chef and social‑media star Nick DiGiovanni appeared as a guest on a recent MasterChef episode, joining judges Gordon Ramsay, Tiffany Derry and Joe Bastianich for a Mystery Box challenge that emphasized viral‑ready dishes. The episode introduced a rule change eliminating the immunity pin, meaning only the winning dish secured safety for the team.

BBC One announced that Celebrity MasterChef season 21 will launch on 18 August, with episodes airing at 9 pm. The new series adds Michelin‑star chef Giorgio Locatelli to the judging panel alongside Grace Dent. A celebrity lineup including Emily Campbell, Jason Mohammad, Shakira Khan, Joe Pasquale and others will compete for the title.
