MasterChef Poland features guest judge Massimo Bottura

In a recent episode of MasterChef Poland, contestant Przemysław Cichowlas was eliminated following a critical error in processing shrimp. The episode featured special guest Massimo Bottura, the renowned Italian chef and owner of the three-Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana, who joined the regular jury consisting of Przemysław Klima, Michel Moran, and Pascal Brodnicki.

During the competition, participants were tasked with recreating authentic Neapolitan flavors. The judging process proved intense, with Przemysław Klima delivering harsh critiques regarding food safety and texture. Specifically, Klima described a mussel dish as a “tragedy,” noting that the dough was raw and comparing its texture to “concrete.” Pascal Brodnicki added that the mussels were not fully opened, posing a potential poisoning risk.

Regarding the elimination of Cichowlas, Przemysław Klima clarified that the decision to strip the contestant of his apron was a collective consensus reached by the four-person jury rather than an individual choice.
