MasterChef Profissionais returns with veterans and new challenges

The sixth season of MasterChef Profissionais has premiered on Band, marking the return of the professional format after a three-year hiatus. The new season features 18 contestants, including nine returning veterans from previous amateur and pastry editions, such as Irina Cordeiro, Léo Salles, and Fernanda Oliveira.

In the premiere episode, which included a service challenge for 100 guests, Irina Cordeiro earned the first pin of the season. However, Vinicius Cavalcante became the first contestant eliminated after struggling with a pastry challenge involving the construction of a religieuse tower.

The judging panel remains composed of Erick Jacquin, Henrique Fogaça, and Helena Rizzo. Former presenter Ana Paula Padrão also made a special appearance during the premiere. The competition offers a prize of R$ 300,000, a MasterChef trophy, a culinary trip to Italy, and various professional kitchen equipment.
