MasterChef Slovenia focuses on contestant support and new talent

The production team of MasterChef Slovenia is focusing on managing the intense psychological pressure faced by the 16 contestants. Editor Katarina Šušterič noted that the contestants often sacrifice their personal lives and careers to pursue their culinary dreams, leading to significant stress. To support them, the crew provides professional guidance and motivational music to help ease the transition into the kitchen.

The judging panel, consisting of Luka Jezeršek, Karim Merdjadi, and Mojmir Šiftar, serves as mentors rather than just critics, working to motivate contestants to perform at their best.

Among the participants is Tadej Oblak, a 33-year-old graphic designer and visual artist currently living in Amsterdam. Oblak has returned to Slovenia to compete, viewing food as an art form. He intends to use any potential winnings to invest in his future culinary business and a home in his native country.
