MasterChef Slovenija prepares for 12th season premiere

The 12th season of MasterChef Slovenija is scheduled to premiere on POP TV on August 31. Judges Luka Jezeršek and Mojmir Šiftar have shared insights into the upcoming season, highlighting the technical skills and dynamics of the judging panel.

Jezeršek emphasized the importance of fundamental knife skills, noting that many contestants overlook the necessity of a clean cut. He described the judging team as complementary, with Karim specializing in desserts, Jezeršek providing a business-oriented perspective on culinary potential, and Šiftar representing a younger, technically proficient generation focused on flavor combinations.

Šiftar offered advice for contestants facing pressure, suggesting they take a minute to plan rather than rushing into disorganized preparation. Additionally, the production team addresses food sustainability by ensuring that ingredients nearing their expiration dates are distributed among the 60 to 70 crew members to minimize waste.
