Responding to allegations that he had a confrontation with Ilıcalı and even threw dollars at him, Yalçınkaya denied the claims, stating, “Who are we to throw dollars at Mr. Acun!” He noted that rumors about judges leaving the program surface every season.

Separately, tension rose during the 2026 season of MasterChef Türkiye involving contestant Şiringül Kaya. Following a heated argument with teammates during an immunity game, Kaya was seen removing her apron and leaving the studio in tears. While the incident has sparked speculation about her potential departure from the competition, it remains unclear if she has officially quit or been eliminated.
