MasterChef Türkiye contestant Gülbahar Meşe eliminated

Gülbahar Meşe has been eliminated from the 2026 season of MasterChef Türkiye. Following a competitive elimination round involving eight candidates, Meşe was the second contestant to leave the competition after failing to outperform Koray in the final stage.

During her departure, Meşe shared a personal history involving significant hardships, including experiencing domestic violence during her first marriage and seeking refuge in a women's shelter with her son. Her emotional testimony prompted support from judges Mehmet Yalçınkaya and Somer Sivrioğlu. Yalçınkaya specifically offered professional support to Meşe, praising her resilience in overcoming past traumas.

The elimination process included a creativity round using eggplant as the primary ingredient, followed by a final challenge where contestants prepared Danilo Zanna’s signature dish, Ricciola.
