Masters of the Universe live‑action film debuts in Brazil on June 4, 2026

The live‑action remake of the 1980s He‑Man franchise, titled Masters of the Universe, opened in Brazilian cinemas on June 4, 2026. Directed by Travis Knight, the comedy‑tinged film stars Nicholas Galitzine as Adam/He‑Man and Camila Mendes as Teela, with supporting roles for Idris Elba, Jared Leto and others. The plot follows Adam, a reluctant prince of Eternia, who discovers the Sword of Power on Earth and must return to save his realm.

To promote the release, Brazil’s late‑night show The Noite with Danilo Gentili aired a He‑Man‑themed special. Long‑time Brazilian voice of He‑Man, Garcia Júnior, returned to reprise the role, interviewed stars Galitzine and Mendes, and discussed the film’s nostalgic elements. The broadcast also featured a performance by former Trem da Alegria singer Juninho Bill and appearances by a prominent He‑Man toy collector.
