Masters of the Universe tops all streaming platforms in weekly viewership
Prime Video’s ‘Masters of the Universe’ became the most-watched title across all streaming platforms for the week of July 20–26, according to Nielsen data. The film recorded approximately 1.17 billion viewing minutes during its first week of availability on the service.
In a notable achievement for a single film, ‘Masters of the Universe’ outperformed long-running series with extensive libraries, including ‘The Big Bang Theory’ on Max, which recorded 1.12 billion minutes, and ‘House of the Dragon’, which garnered 912 million minutes.
Other significant performers in the weekly rankings included Netflix’s sports comedy ‘The Hawk’, which led original programming with 944 million minutes, and Prime Video’s ‘Ride Or Die’ at 922 million minutes. Hulu’s 15th season of ‘King of the Hill’ also charted with 658 million minutes.
