Mat Ishbia rules out trading Devin Booker to Detroit Pistons

Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia has stated that he will not trade star player Devin Booker to the Detroit Pistons. During a recent Q&A session, Ishbia was asked if he would consider a trade to the Michigan-based team.

Ishbia responded, “When I’m dead. Devin Booker will never be a Detroit Piston.” Despite being originally from the Detroit area and having attended Michigan State University, Ishbia added, “I don’t care about the Pistons at all.”

Booker, a Grand Rapids native, recently signed an extension that keeps him with the Suns until he is 34 years old. The Pistons previously passed on drafting Booker in 2015, selecting Stanley Johnson instead.
