Mata Grande Penitentiary intercepts drone contraband deliveries
Security forces at the Mata Grande Penitentiary in Rondonópolis intercepted two separate drone attempts to deliver contraband to the facility during the early hours of a Saturday. The operation, conducted by the Mato Grosso State Secretariat of Justice (Sejus-MT), was part of the state government's 'Zero Tolerance for Criminal Factions' program.
During the interception, the newly created Anti-Drone Team captured one of the drones after it fell during the procedure. Authorities seized a variety of illicit items, including 10 mobile phones (comprising nine smartphones and one iPhone), headphones, conventional chargers, and one induction power bank.
