Matamoros announces new vehicular bridge construction
The municipality of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, has announced the construction of a new vehicular bridge at the intersection of Leyes de Reforma Avenue and Periférico. Mayor Beto Granados stated that the project aims to resolve a long-standing traffic congestion issue that has been a demand for over 20 years.
The infrastructure project is expected to benefit more than 500,000 residents by improving connectivity and urban mobility in a strategic sector of the city. Construction is estimated to last between eight and 10 months. The mayor has requested patience from motorists, as the works may cause temporary traffic disruptions and circulation changes.
