Matamoros man hospitalized following suspected robbery

A man was found injured at a bus stop in front of an H-E-B store on the Periférico in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, following a suspected robbery.

Emergency volunteers from Grupo Mayor and Grupo Águila provided initial first aid before paramedics from Cruz Verde arrived to stabilize the victim. The man was subsequently transported to a hospital for medical attention. While the incident is being treated as a suspected assault and robbery, authorities have not yet confirmed the exact circumstances, whether belongings were stolen, or if any suspects have been identified.
