Matamoros Mayor celebrates Juan José de la Garza High School anniversary

Matamoros Mayor José Alberto Granados Fávila attended the 80th anniversary celebration of the Juan José de la Garza Preparatory School. During the event, which included students, alumni, faculty, and family members, Granados Fávila reaffirmed his administration's commitment to supporting the local student community.

As part of the commemorative program, recognitions were presented to academic, administrative, and maintenance staff for their long-term service, specifically honoring those with more than 15, 20, and 30 years of dedication to the institution. The Mayor encouraged students to pursue their professional goals and urged parents to remain actively involved in their children's academic development.
