Matamoros prepares long-awaited infrastructure projects

The Matamoros municipal government, in coordination with the Tamaulipas state government, is preparing two major infrastructure projects to improve urban mobility. Mayor Beto Granados announced that these works are being developed alongside Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya to address long-standing community needs.

One key project involves the construction of a vehicular bridge at the intersection of Leyes de Reforma and Periférico, a project that residents have reportedly been waiting for for more than 22 years. Additionally, the government plans to expand Avenida 12 de Marzo from Constituyentes Street to Palmares to improve connectivity across the city.
