Matanza district launches mobile service days across Villa Celina and neighboring towns

From 22 to 26 June, the Matanza municipal government deployed a mobile "Municipio en tu Barrio" unit to Villa Celina, Rafael Castillo, Laferrere and González Catán. The free service window offered document processing (DNI, certificates), health checks and vaccinations (including COVID‑19), youth services such as student transport cards and SUBE registration, and economic assistance like social‑program advice, seed distribution for family gardens and entrepreneurship support.

The schedule placed the unit at a community centre in Villa Celina on 22‑23 June, a primary school in González Catán on 24 June, a parish hall in Laferrere on 25 June, and another parish in Rafael Castillo on 26 June. Residents could also receive blood‑pressure tests, rapid HIV‑syphilis tests, and legal aid, reflecting the local government's effort to bring multiple public services directly to neighborhoods.

The initiative aims to streamline bureaucratic procedures, improve health coverage and stimulate local economic activity by reducing travel barriers for citizens in the Greater Buenos Aires district.
