Argentina judicial updates: various criminal rulings and sentencing

Various judicial proceedings and criminal cases have been reported across Argentina. In Rosario, the Criminal Chamber revoked the preventive detention of Matías Capozucca, who is accused of coercive threats and trespassing against his former partner. Capozucca was ordered to pay a 3 million peso bond, adhere to strict contact prohibitions, and use an electronic monitoring device.

Other notable legal developments include the sentencing of a 20-year-old man to seven years in prison for the robbery and sexual assault of an 80-year-old woman in Resistencia, Chaco. In Villa Floresta, a 36-year-old man received a six-month effective prison sentence for breaking into his ex-partner's home.

In federal court, judges ruled that charges against Dolly Viale de Garrido regarding the falsification of civil status and identity of a minor are not time-barred. Additionally, a request for temporary release for Sheila Naiquén Suárez, a woman convicted of multiple robberies, was rejected due to previous failures to respond to electronic monitoring.
