Matías Chavarría scores hat-trick in Recreativo de Huelva victory

Matías Chavarría scored three goals to lead Recreativo de Huelva to a 5-0 victory against Atlético Antoniano at the Nuevo Colombino stadium. Chavarría’s performance marks the second hat-trick by a Recreativo player in the last decade, the first since Pablo Caballero achieved the feat in late 2022.

Aitor García provided all three assists for Chavarría, highlighting a strong connection between the players. Following the match, Chavarría emphasized that the team's collective success and the three points were more significant than his individual scoring achievement.

The win strengthens Recreativo de Huelva's position in the standings as the team prepares for upcoming Copa del Rey commitments.
