Matías Galarza joins Inter Miami on loan from River Plate

Inter Miami has officially announced the signing of Paraguayan midfielder Matías Galarza on loan from River Plate. The 24-year-old joins the MLS club to bolster their midfield alongside teammates such as Lionel Messi.

The agreement is set to run until the end of the 2026 season. Reports indicate the deal includes an option to purchase 50% of the player's rights for $3 million, provided he participates in at least 66% of the team's official matches. Galarza becomes the fourth Paraguayan player to represent Inter Miami, following Diego Gómez, Héctor David Martínez, and Matías Rojas.
