MATECH and CIO release new MagSafe-compatible mobile batteries
New mobile battery technologies are focusing on portability and safety. MATECH has released the MagOn Prime Ultra Slim 5000, a MagSafe-compatible power bank designed for extreme thinness. Measuring only 6.9mm thick and weighing 99g, it utilizes Qi2 standards to provide up to 15W fast wireless charging and includes a small display to monitor remaining battery levels.
In terms of safety, CIO has introduced the SMARTCOBY Ex04 Wireless2.2 CABLE SS5K, which utilizes semi-solid battery cells. Unlike standard lithium-ion batteries that use liquid electrolytes, this model uses a gel-like semi-solid electrolyte to significantly reduce the risks of leakage, overheating, and fire. The device also features built-in cables for easier transport and maintains high charging speeds for both wired and wireless use.
