Matej Dodig reaches Maia Challenger semifinals

Croatian tennis player Matej Dodig has advanced to the semifinals of the Challenger Tour tournament in Maia, Portugal. Following his recent title win in Braga, Dodig secured his eighth consecutive victory by defeating American Tristan Boyer with a score of 6-4, 7-6 (4) on clay.

Dodig is scheduled to face Italian Francesco Passaro in the semifinals. Meanwhile, fellow Croatian Luka Mikrut was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Spanish qualifier Alejo Sanchez Quilez, who won 6-1, 6-4. Sanchez Quilez will move on to play Zsombor Piros.
