Matelica Community Hospital to receive over 500,000 euros for diagnostic upgrades

The Marche Regional Council has approved a funding reallocation of over 500,000 euros to enhance diagnostic imaging capabilities at the Matelica Community Hospital.

The investment of 503,250 euros will be used to acquire several pieces of advanced medical equipment. This includes a dedicated sectoral MRI scanner valued at 270,000 euros, a 3D digital orthopantomograph for 85,000 euros, and a bone densitometer for 90,000 euros. Additional funds will cover digitalization efforts and a master recorder.

These upgrades aim to improve local diagnostic services, specifically in musculoskeletal diagnostics, three-dimensional imaging, and bone density assessment. Local officials noted that the investment represents a significant step toward strengthening community-based healthcare and modernizing the facility's technological capabilities.
