Mateo Chávez records two assists in AZ Alkmaar victory

Mexican defender Mateo Chávez recorded two assists in AZ Alkmaar’s 4-1 victory over Utrecht during the second matchday of the Eredivisie season.

Chávez provided his first assist of the campaign in the 49th minute with a precise cross to Mexx Meerdink, extending the lead to 3-0. His second assist came in the 84th minute when he recovered the ball and delivered a long pass to Ayoub Oufkir, who scored to finalize the scoreline.

Earlier goals for AZ Alkmaar were scored by Peer Koopmeiners and Weslley Patati. Utrecht’s lone goal was scored by Artem Stepanov in the 62nd minute.
