Mateo Ferreira wins Riftbound Regional Qualifier in Barcelona

Mateo Ferreira Vázquez, known as ‘TheManLand’, won the Riftbound Regional Qualifier held at the Fira de Barcelona. The Madrid-based player, representing team Micelion, secured the title with a 2-0 victory over Koko López using an Ornn deck.

The event marked the largest participation recorded for a Riftbound Regional Qualifier to date, with 2,224 players competing and approximately 3,800 tickets sold over the three-day tournament. The competition featured top international players, with Spanish representatives performing strongly in the final standings.

Other notable top-eight finishers included Francesco ‘Mosik’ Moschini, Kyle ‘Prismaticism’ Belaiche, Hugo ‘Shaßßat Shalom’ Sahnoune, Pedro ‘Squirtle’ Bañeres, Sarah ‘Gonkra’ Beaulieu, and Marco ‘Hisoka’ Belacca.
