Matera Municipality outsources institutional communication services

The Municipality of Matera has entered into a framework agreement with a private company from the Puglia region to manage integrated institutional communication services. This contract covers digital media management, press office duties, and media relations.

Critics point out that while the administration is outsourcing these functions to an external firm, it is simultaneously planning to hire a communications specialist and a spokesperson through the municipal structure by 2026.
