Materna and VERSO partner to support SME sustainability reporting

IT service provider Materna and ESG software specialist VERSO have launched a partnership to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with sustainable transformation. The collaboration aims to help companies navigate the upcoming EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which will mandate sustainability reporting for a broader range of businesses.

The partnership combines Materna’s IT and change management expertise with VERSO’s ESG software capabilities. The joint offering focuses on overcoming the challenges of decentralized data collection and internal process management through customized software solutions. This allows companies to build effective sustainability management systems, create climate balances, and produce sustainability reports based on their existing IT infrastructure and data landscapes.
