Mateus Solano discusses career and artistry on TV Cultura

Actor Mateus Solano appeared on the program ‘Provoca’, hosted by Marcelo Tas on TV Cultura, to discuss his career and personal reflections. Solano spoke about his character Félix, describing him as an archetype of human malice and the urge to judge others.

During the interview, Solano shared his philosophy on artistry, stating that ‘being an artist is rethinking the world’ and acting as a mirror to society. He also discussed his current tour with his first monologue, ‘Figurante’, noting that the character Augusto is a tribute to the late audiovisual professional Augusto Mucke.

Addressing his personal life, Solano reflected on the experience of living alone and his evolving relationship with sadness, which he described as something he no longer tries to mask or flee from, but rather accepts as a constant companion to joy.
