Matey and Elena discuss life in the US and Bulgaria on podcast

Matey and Elena, participants from season 8 of the reality show ‘Games of Will’, appeared on the ‘After the Games Podcast’ hosted by Simona Rǎzdavichka. During the episode, the duo discussed their experiences in the extreme reality show, including psychological pressures and specific gameplay decisions.

As both individuals have lived abroad—Matey grew up in New York and Elena was born in Ireland and lived in the United States—they compared the cost of living and economic realities between Bulgaria and America. Matey specifically addressed the income required to maintain a standard of living in New York compared to Bulgaria, exploring whether higher American salaries necessarily equate to a better quality of life.
