Matheus Mattara, an Italo-Brazilian defender for Famalicão, suffered an ankle injury during his official debut in the 8th round of the Portuguese League against Alverca. The injury occurred in the fourth minute of the match, causing Mattara significant pain that reportedly led to him fainting.
Following medical examinations, it was confirmed that Mattara suffered a severe ankle trauma, but doctors ruled out any fractures.
