Mathilde Miclo-Barthel manages farm and music career despite albinism

Mathilde Miclo-Barthel, a 37-year-old resident of Vecoux in the Vosges region, has successfully integrated her life as a farmer, musician, and animal mediator despite living with albinism.

Due to the genetic condition, which results in a lack of melanin, Miclo-Barthel lives with significantly impaired vision, reporting a visual acuity of 1/10 in each eye. Despite these challenges, she has taken over her family's farm and maintains a career as a singer and violinist, having studied music since her early school years in Remiremont.
