Mathilde Panot accuses Apolline de Malherbe of defamation on BFMTV

During a broadcast of Face à Face on BFMTV, Mathilde Panot, president of the La France insoumise group in the National Assembly, engaged in a heated exchange with journalist Apolline de Malherbe.

The confrontation arose when de Malherbe questioned the consistency of La France insoumise's stance against billionaires, citing the presence of actress Anna Mouglalis at the party's summer universities. Panot accused the journalist of attempting to “defame” the actress and defended the party's position, arguing that their critique of wealth does not preclude engagement with the luxury sector.
