Matias Fernandez-Pardo transfers from LOSC Lille to Newcastle United

Matias Fernandez-Pardo has officially completed a transfer from LOSC Lille to Newcastle United. The Belgian international winger joined the Premier League club on a long-term contract lasting until 2031.

Lille received a transfer fee of approximately €65 million for the player, which includes a 20% sell-on clause for any future resale. This follows another major sale for the French club involving Ayyoub Bouaddi to Manchester City. Reports suggest Fernandez-Pardo’s salary has more than tripled with the move, with annual earnings estimated at €4.5 million.

At Newcastle, the 21-year-old is expected to provide versatility across the attacking line. While often categorized as a winger, his performance at Lille demonstrated an ability to play as a striker or a number 10, frequently operating in central areas and the left half-space.
