Matica Makedonska releases new literary works

Matica Makedonska has released two notable literary works. The publisher has released the Macedonian edition of ‘Maski na stravot’ (Masks of Fear) by Romanian author Camelia Cavadia. Originally published in Romania in 2016, the novel explores the long-term psychological impacts of domestic violence and how such experiences influence individuals when they become parents.

Additionally, a new edition of ‘Nasmeani kapki’ (Smiling Drops) by Stojan Tarapuza is now available through Panili and Matica Makedonska. This collection of children's poetry, which has been a staple in Macedonian education for decades, celebrates the poet's mastery of rhythm and imagery. The release coincides with the 60th anniversary of Tarapuza's literary debut in 1966.
